Welcome
There has been a Methodist Witness on the Newtownards Road since 1826. From the earliest days the desire to be involved in outreach goes back to the soup kitchens of the early 1900’s which has developed into the current projects of East Belfast Mission. We hope that you will be able to join in some of our church based services and programmes
Methodist’s are described as “Friends of All, Enemies of None” and we In East Belfast Mission want everyone who visits our church to experience that. We hope you find a place of warm Christian welcome; Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”- THE MESSAGE

Counselling
The EBM counselling and psychotherapy service has been established for over 10 years. Our experienced counsellors and therapists strive to create a warm, safe and personal space for clients to be able to explore difficult thoughts and feelings, and support them in their journey to find solutions to their difficulties.
We work on building strong therapeutic relationships based on trust and respect, with people of all faiths and none, and we value the individual differences and backgrounds of all our clients. We provide counselling and psychotherapy for children, young people, adults, and older adults, to individuals, couples, and families.
