Calling
all blushing brides! Are you in the midst of planning your big day, and are
looking for a state of the art wedding dress at an affordable price? Lady Luck
may have just crossed your threshold. And it’s all thanks to the ‘Vintage’ store,
Royal Avenue, launching their much-talked about bridal department, which was
proudly opened at 11.30am on Thursday 27th May 2010.
I popped along to catch the low-down and chat to some of the staff. On
introducing myself on arrival, I made my way upstairs to where the event was
being held. Here I was met by an array of stunning bridal dresses and flower
girl dresses, along with dazzling accessories, all including beautiful
handbags, shoes, hats, and jewellery. After familiarising myself with the store,
being the first time visitor that I was, it was time for the launch.
Neil Morris, Finance Director of EBM, gave a presentation talk, all before
cutting the ribbon, which was proudly undertaken by Claire Walsh, Manager of
‘Vintage’, and Gary Mason, Superintendent. Guests present at the event included
Peter Fisher from Cookstown Recycling. Also, Ciaran Toman from the Zip Yard,
Castle Street, who plans to work in conjunction with ‘Vintage’, and shall be
offering customers who require clothing alterations, a ten percent discount.
Mary McGinn from Belfast City Council aims to play an active role in promoting
the ‘Vintage’ store, through significant websites.
The presentation was followed by tea, coffee, accompanied by a selection of
tempting tray bakes. Within forty five minutes of opening, ‘Vintage’, had their first sale of a beautifully detailed white
wedding dress.
The experience of a visit to this store would definitely get the ‘thumbs up’
from me.
A wide range of stock, along with first class customer service, guarantees that
every ‘bride-to-be’ shall not leave disappointed.
I wish all staff at ’Vintage’ store every success for a very happy and
fulfilling future!
