Strategy

At EBM we believe that everybody matters and at Hosford House that means valuing everyone's right to a home.  Our aim is to provide a professional service that actively responds to the needs of homeless people, supporting them towards independent living.

Goals

We aim to achieve this by:

• Seeking opportunities to speak out and raise awareness
• Recruiting appropriate staff
• Achieving Supporting People Hostel Stands Level B
• Implementing quality standards
• Ensuring best practice and legistlative compliance.
• Tackling repeat homelessness
• Enabling client to effectively engage with community and statutory agencies
• Referring clients to appropriate medical services and health education opportunities.
• Supporting clients through recovery from substance abuse
• Helping clients to access appropriate benefits
• Providing support to achieve personal goals through support plans using SMART objectives
• Providing support with housing, getting on the road to independent living.
• Working alongside EBM and Skainos to develop the New Hosford House and provisions for an interim solution during construction.
