 Ways to Get Involved

 • Kidz GAP (Kids, Guardians, and Parents)

Kidz GAP is a group for parents/guardians and toddlers to get together and share support. Featuring stories, games, crafts, toys, and snacks, this energetic group has been running at East Belfast Mission for the past eight years. The support found here is strong and our vision is to offer life skills training to parents while running creative, fun sessions for the children. Regular outings and sessions take place allowing strong friendships to develop.

  • Women's Group

The Women's Group at East Belfast Mission began when mums from Kidz GAP decided they wanted some space where they could talk about issues important to them as women. . . without kids in tow! The Women’s Group has gone from strength to strength over the past six years and now includes women of all ages and stages in life. From cups to tea, to day-trips, to a special project called "Prods, Prams, and Patrick," the Women’s Group has combined fun and friendship with challenging new opportunities for learning.

 • "In Our Shoes" Oral history and reminiscence project

This monthly event is for older members of the community who are keen to explore their own personal history and the history of the community. Each month we explore a different topic, with the help of guest speakers and creative activities.
