What we believe informs how we live. EBM has grown from a tradition of Methodism where we believe that it is important to engage with our world to show love and mercy. We do this because we believe that we all need help as we live and grow in this world. None of us can do it by ourselves and we do not stand in judgement of each other - we simply want to help to try to rebuild broken lives.

Central in this belief is that God exists and that through the life of Jesus, came to show us that grace and peace available for everyone. We believe the scripture tells us, "God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him." If God isn't into condemnation, neither are we. Perhaps your life is messed up and broken and you feel you wouldn’t fit into 'nice Christian life’ – then perhaps you might find a spiritual home with us.
