Upcoming events:

  • Companions in Christ: A new 6 week series led by Rev Britt Gilmore will begin Thursday 27th October from 7.30pm in Connswater Community Centre. For more details or to register your interest in this program email Britt.
  • Church+: Getting together for meaningful conversation can be hard. The week passes quickly and often we feel we have no focus. To help us connect, we’re going to offer an earlier start on the first Sunday of each month to coincide with communion. We’ll begin with a light breakfast at 9.30am in Connswater Community Centre and then from 9.45 to 10.30 offer several options for reflection, conversation and prayer. It’ll be for all the family so kids are included too! The regular service will still be at 11am so don’t worry if you can’t make it for 9.30.

Gatherings

We meet together because we all learn from each other. The main time we get together is on a Sunday morning from 11.00 to 12.00 and also from 7pm to 8pm. During this gathering we reflect on God by singing, reading and talking together. This is our time to meet as a family and so all ages are welcome. If you are interested in listening to a sample of the teaching check out the ‘teaching’ tab.We also meet together in our homes as small groups, check out the small groups tab for more information. There are other groups that get together throughout the week – check out the tabs on the side of this page to find out what’s happening this week.

Small groups

When we meet as a whole family, it’s impossible to get to know each other. Real discipleship can only happen when we learn together and support each other. When we meet as small groups it gives us the opportunity to share how we can put the words of Jesus into practice in our everyday lives. There are a number of small groups already happening in the Belfast area that you might want to become part of or alternatively, you can begin a new group. Being part of a small group allows you not only to grow deeper relationships with each other but also to ask questions and learn in a way that doesn’t happen in a large group setting. For more information email Mark Sweeney who heads up this project on mark.sweeney@ebm.org.uk or contact 9045 8560.
